Christine Krone
Government Relations Specialist
Christine joined Schwartz, Metz, Wise & Kauffman, P.A. in the summer of 2014 as the Manager of Government Affairs. Prior to joining the Firm she worked at the State Department in Washington, D.C. where she maintained the Political-Military Affairs Bureau travel budget for Foreign Service Officers.
A desire to work locally in Annapolis brought her to the Department of Legislative Services where she staffed the bill drafting and amendment offices, and organized commissions and work groups issued by the Governor and the Speaker of the House within the Judicial Proceedings Committee. During her four years with the Maryland General Assembly she gained extensive knowledge about the legislative process and made many contacts in local government. She graduated with a Mass Communications degree from Towson University in 2008. Christine lives in Annapolis with her husband.
